Since I’ll be working for the next few days, I thought I’d post another video, this time an old one, for the folks stuck at home due to the Virus. Good Lord willing, this will end soon and we can get back to normal.
This one is an interview I did with a Voodoo Queen of New Orleans, Bloody Mary. I choose this one because she is a real blast! I’ve taken her tours of the Big Easy, and she is easily one of the most fun guides down there. And with the number of history and ghost tours, and the large number of guides who have to stand out, that is saying something!
Since then, Mary has opened her own Voodoo shop and museum, which is actually located not only in a former Voodoo shop but also where one of the most famous murders in New Orleans took place. Upstairs is the apartment where Zach killed his girlfriend, Annie, right after Hurricane Katrina. It’s mostly famous because he committed suicide, leaving a note on his body of where she was, and had attempted to cook the meat off her bones. Some even believe he was trying to make Gumbo. Needless to say, it’s a haunted building, and Bloody Mary has ghost hunts there and her own Youtube channel I’ll post here so you can check her out if you wish. Again, she’s a hoot and a half!
